Internship

CEVES offers internships to university students and recent graduates from the field of economics, law and organisational sciences (ma, phd). These are an excellent opportunity to learn more about economic think-and-do-tank research products, regulations and policy recommendations in serbia and wider region.

Our internships are an excellent first step into the world of applied economics, and many former interns have gone on to work in these areas. They also provide very good experience for a range of non-policy-based careers.

CEVES internships are well known for their high quality and emphasis on providing interns with a solid grounding in macroeconomics and public policy research methods. During your internship, you will be an integral member of the research team, contributing to CEVES projects. We will give you the opportunity to gain experience in all the main areas of our work, from brainstorming and engaging in policy discussions, to research, analysis, policy development and communications.

Availability

Prospective interns should be available for at least three full days every week. Ideally, an internship will last for four to twelve weeks. We accept applications on a rolling basis and structure your working hours to allow you to continue your studies while working at CEVES.

Applying

Prospective interns should have beliefs that correspond to the values of the Centre for Advanced Economic Studies.

To apply, send a covering letter to office@ceves.org.rs, along with:

  • CV,
  • Availability (number of days per week & length of internship),
  • Up to 300 words on your favourite writers, magazines, films and websites,
  • Up to 300 words on a economic topic or policy area that interest you, and why,
  • A blogpost of up to 400 words on a topic of your choice, policy-focused.

Whatever kind of internship you undertake, you will become a part of the CEVES community and be able to take part in our future goals, projects and activities.
