Aleksandra Urošev is Program Manager for Institutional Development at Centre for Advanced Economic Studies. She is in-charge for institutional development of CEVES, coordination of various projects and also for communication activities.
Her previous experience was appointment for Deputy Chief of Staff to the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government 2014. She was assisting the Chief of Cabinet in management of the Cabinet and the organization of work of employees, as well as strategic planning and coordination of the various activities. Also, she was responsible for the coordination of activities, events and projects in the Cabinet, and was taking care of daily operational tasks within the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, and the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
Before work in public sector Ms. Urošev was member of civil society through two organizations. First as Activity Program Coordinator at the organization “Initiative for Social Responsibility”, and then she started to work at the “Center for Advanced Economic Studies” (CEVES) and together with a small team began rebuilding the organization in a position of Office Manager and younger associate on several projects. She was dealing with the coordination, management and administration of the projects, as well as young researcher on individual projects.
Aleksandra Urošev was born in Belgrade in 1988. She gained Bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations at Faculty of Political Science, Belgrade. She also obtained M.Sc. degree in 2015 in European Integration and International Relations studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences. Her master’s thesis was entitled “The European Union as a Security Actor: Towards a new Security Strategy.”
