Katarina Djulic is Senior Consultant in KPMG, Belgrade since January 2012. Ms. Djulic has been offering consulting services in the area of corporate governance to companies and banks in the region for seven years. In the past year, Mrs. Đulić is also engaged in financial forensic projects and risk consulting.
She is docent teaching at Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration in Belgrade, Vice Dean for Science and founder and BoD member of the Center for Advanced Economic Studies in Belgrade. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Belgrade, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Northwestern University, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, JFK School of Government, and a PhD degree from the University of Belgrade, School of Economics.
Before joining KPMG, Ms. Djulic worked as project manager for the Serbian and Montenegrin Corporate Governance Projects of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a part of the World Bank, which supports private sector sustainable development. As project manager Ms. Djulic is one of the authors of the Corporate Governance Code of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the Corporate Governance Scorecard for joint-stock companies of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the Corporate Governance Scorecard for limited liability companies of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Corporate Governance Code of the Montenegrin Stock Exchange and the Corporate Governance Scorecard for joint-stock companies of the Montenegrin Stock Exchange. Ms. Djulic is also one of the authors of a new Corporate Governance Code of Serbian Chamber of Commerce (launched in November 2012). Before IFC, Ms Djulic worked as a legal adviser to firms in Belgrade and New York and afterwards at the Ministry of Finance, first as an adviser to the Minister and then as an Assistant Minister in charge of the Financial System Division. She also worked for European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London in Office of General Council.
Ms Djulic was a member of Board of Directors in DDOR, Novi Sad, a member of Supervisory Board in Jubanka, Beograd and Chairwoman of Supervisory Board in Central Securities Depositary and Clearing House, Republic of Serbia.
