The project identified actionable priority interventions for each partner country, to be implemented with EBRD support. CEVES is a lead, other consortium members are Finance Think partner (North Macedonia), Riinvest Institute partner (Kosovo), Prof Soana Jaupllari partner (Albania).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CEVES's Role<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lead a regional consortium tasked with identification and prioritization of actionable competitiveness policy measures for country implementation with EBRD support. Focus on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), addressing key structural barriers and catalyzing regional cooperation. Updates of the policy studies are scheduled for 2026 and 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key results and impact<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Produced seven Competitiveness Policy Priority studies (six national, one regional), proposing 63 policy measures based on previously developed selection criteria<br>\u2022 Grounded in robust data analysis, 150+ stakeholder interviews, and validation workshops<br>\u2022 Informed donor and IFI programming (EBRD, EU, bilateral agencies) and aligned national strategies with EU integration priorities<br>\u2022 Facilitated policy dialogue across governments, private sector, and development partners, and strengthened regional cooperation among think tanks and policymakers<br>\u2022 Positioned MSME competitiveness at the core of sustainable growth and regional development agendas in the Western Balkans<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Types of Services Provided<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Policy research &amp; analysis<br>\u2022 Strategic policy advisory \u2013 identified and prioritized actionable policy measures<br>\u2022 Stakeholder engagement &amp; facilitation \u2013 carried out interviews, surveys, and consultation workshops with policymakers, business leaders, and development partners<br>\u2022 Consortium leadership &amp; coordination \u2013 managed a regional network of think tanks, ensured quality of deliverables, and fostered regional knowledge exchange<br>\u2022 Reporting &amp; dissemination \u2013 authored national reports and regional report, presented findings to stakeholders<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kontekst Cilj ovog projekta bio je da se razviju preporuke za javne politike koje \u0107e informisati \u0161iru inicijativu Evropske banke za obnovu i razvoj (EBRD), usmerenu na unapre\u0111enje konkurentnosti, sa posebnim fokusom na MSP sektor, zeleno rast i inovacije, u \u0161est zemalja Zapadnog Balkana i na regionalnom nivou.
