{"id":6119,"date":"2017-04-04T20:48:04","date_gmt":"2017-04-04T18:48:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/?p=6119"},"modified":"2019-04-04T20:56:28","modified_gmt":"2019-04-04T18:56:28","slug":"performance-and-value-chain-analysis-of-selected-sectors-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/en\/performance-and-value-chain-analysis-of-selected-sectors-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Analysis of the performance and value chains of selected sectors"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 id=\"entrepreneurship\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">CEVES Consortium and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia<\/h3>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Year: 2017<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This study presents an analysis of the performance of the manufacturing sector in Serbia, with a deeper analysis of the competitiveness of four sectors selected by the Ministry of Economy: food and beverages (F&amp;B), wood and furniture (W&amp;F), rubber and plastics (R&amp;P), and machinery and equipment (M&amp;E). The study was conducted within the framework of the \u201eCompetitiveness and Employment\u201c project, which is being implemented through the cooperation of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the World Bank, and whose main goal is to mitigate and remove barriers to increasing competitiveness and employment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aim of the study is to contribute to the improvement of the business and investment environment \u2013 particularly in the selected sectors \u2013 in such a way that the implementation of the activities proposed in the study leads to the stimulation of development, competitiveness, and employment, i.e., to eliminate or at least reduce the impact of the key identified barriers.
