{"id":7741,"date":"2022-03-01T20:38:57","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T19:38:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/?p=7741"},"modified":"2025-12-01T16:46:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T15:46:06","slug":"sr-ceves-i-toc-jacanje-perspektive-lokalnog-odrzivog-razvoja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/en\/sr-ceves-i-toc-jacanje-perspektive-lokalnog-odrzivog-razvoja\/","title":{"rendered":"CEVES and TOC \u2013 Strengthening the Perspective of Local Sustainable Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1646143558463-scaled.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7742\" src=\"https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1646143558463-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1646143558463-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1646143558463-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1646143558463-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1646143558463-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1646143558463-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Within the \u201eSustainable Development for All\u201c Platform, CEVES and TOC held a meeting on February 28, 2022&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pirotskevesti.rs\/integrisanje-ekonomskih-ciljeva-odrzivog-razvoja-pirot-lokomotiva-razvoja-svog-okruzenja\/\">meeting<\/a> at the Pirot City Administration with representatives of the city and the Regional Development Agency South (RRA South), and presented the document <a href=\"https:\/\/ceves.org.rs\/en\/lokalizacija_ekonomske_dimenzije_odrzivog_razvoja_pirot\/\">\u201eFindings and Recommendations for the Localization of the Economic Dimension of Sustainable Development in the Medium-Term Development Plan of the City of Pirot\u201c<\/a>. Among those present at the meeting were Kori Udovi\u010dki, President of CEVES, Goran Radisavljevi\u0107, Director of TOC, Milo\u0161 Coli\u0107, Deputy Mayor of Pirot, Marija \u0110o\u0161i\u0107, Head of the Office for Local Economic Development, and Dragana Stojanovi\u0107, Director of RRA South.<\/p>\n<p>The ten-month research, in cooperation with city representatives, showed that the key specific goals of local economic development are: 1) positioning Pirot as a center and driver of economic development; 2) diversification of the economy and development of the private sector, especially SMEs, and 3) utilization of natural resources for the development of tourism, agriculture, and green energy while improving environmental quality. The presentation of the analysis on the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030 into the Medium-Term Development Plan of the City of Pirot was followed by a discussion on past and future plans, as well as the challenges faced by the city of Pirot on its path to achieving economic development and Agenda 2030. The discussion generated ideas for initiatives that can improve development, some of which include the need to strengthen the inter-municipal cooperation system, as well as the possible improvement of cooperative regulations to facilitate cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises, following the example of Italian and other models.
