The brochure presents CEVES„ work on assessing the potential and prospects of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) sector in Serbia, as well as identifying those areas, policy changes, and support knowledge that are necessary to realize the potential and contribute to the sustainable development of the Serbian economy. A significant part of the initiatives found on these pages is the result of dialogue with representatives of the 100 SMEs, “leaders" in the population of Hidden Champions, companies where direct export of their own products and services accounts for more than 24.9% of revenue and is valued at over 1 million euros – during the preparation and implementation of the 100 SMEs Expo project, which was held at Mind Park in Kragujevac in early June 2022.
