MSP100 Expo 2023: People are Success – Strengthening the human and organizational capacities of small and medium-sized enterprises

Učesnici MSP100 Expo 2023 diskutuju o razvoju preduzeća.

The Center for Advanced Economic Studies and the Science and Technology Park Niš are organizing the second event on November 9, 2023, in Niš. MSP100 Expo, under the slogan People are Success.

MSP100 Expo is an initiative launched in 2022 with the idea of recognizing and bringing together leading small and medium-sized enterprises and enabling their voices to be heard.

The goal of the conference is to support the development and cooperation of MSP100 – leading domestic small and medium-sized enterprises selected according to clearly defined criteria of excellence, through the mutual exchange of useful experiences and best practices. It also aims to highlight the potential these companies have to contribute to the sustainable development of Serbia. The focus will be on people, i.e., the necessity, opportunities, and possibilities to strengthen the personnel base and organizational capacities of SMEs and adapt them to the radical changes that are transforming the global and Serbian economies today. The program will also cover digitalization, green transformation, and corporate governance.

More than 100 leading domestic small and medium-sized enterprises and more than 300 participants (representatives of state institutions, business associations, the international community, large companies, the banking sector, the NGO sector, the professional public, and the local community) are expected.

During the event, CEVES will present the „SME Barometer,“ through which it will measure the progress of SMEs in Serbia and the „lead time“ in implementing initiatives to support SMEs in the future, and send messages to decision-makers about the necessary development policies.

This year's MSP100 Expo also brings a bonus – free training on green transition, prepared and conducted by EBRD, on the second day in the same venue for all pre-registered interested companies.

More information can be found on the website MSP100, and the preliminary conference agenda is available Here.

Conference partners include the project Big Small Business, funded by USAID and implemented by ACDI/VOCA, EBRD, as well as the Project Through Knowledge to Work, supported by the Swiss Cooperation Office and implemented by NIRAS IP. The conference friend is the Platform Sustainable Development for All, supported by the governments of Switzerland and Germany and implemented by GIZ.
