Grafikoni konkurentnosti realnog sektora Srbije

Partner: United States Agency for International Development (USAID)

Year: 2006

This report examines the regional characteristics of the labor market in Serbia, as part of the preparation of the National Employment Strategy for the period 2005-2010. The main idea was to identify regions where the workforce is exposed to an above-average risk of unemployment and to recommend to economic policymakers and local actors activities that would contribute to reducing regional disparities in the Serbian labor market. The study on the Serbian labor market map aims to comprehensively examine the situation in district and municipal labor markets and to uncover what influences different outcomes in the regions. This research also considers labor market perspectives in a regional dimension and offers recommendations for employment-focused policies.
