The Quarterly Monitor of Economic Trends and Policies in Serbia was initially developed by CEVES, led by Ms. Kori Udovički, thus becoming one of the most relevant and popular publications of the Foundation for the Development of Economic Science (FREN). The Quarterly Monitor regularly tracks and analyzes the general macroeconomic situation and economic policy in Serbia, comparing it with other countries of the European Union and Southeastern Europe. The main goal of the Quarterly Monitor is to provide a thorough insight into the state of the Serbian economy, along with providing comments and recommendations to policymakers on the most difficult problems facing Serbia. The Quarterly Monitor focuses on six main topics: economic activity, employment and wages, balance of payments and foreign trade, prices and exchange rates, fiscal flows and policies, and monetary flows and policies. The current editor-in-chief of the Quarterly Monitor is Milojko Arsić, professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.
