CEVES' report published in 2007 consists of a deep and comprehensive analysis of macroeconomic data, including key prices, exchange rates, production data, publicly available fiscal, monetary, and foreign trade data. The main focus of the report was on national accounts data and on providing a new framework for analyzing the Serbian economy. The study revealed significant errors and problems, particularly related to the GDP level and expenditure structure. The final conclusions of the study required a revision of the official methodology and data on GDP and investments by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.
