A team of experts, led by CEA within the Project for Assessing and Optimizing the Potential of the Open Balkan Initiative, has prepared an updated report based on research on Progress in narrowing the administrative gap within the Open Balkan Initiative in the area of free access to the labor market, as well as the views of the business community.
The report on the administrative gap provides an updated picture of the current state of the Open Balkan Initiative regarding the adoption and ratification of agreements and memorandums of understanding. The report summarizes the activities of the administration in the countries that have signed the memorandums and agreements, as well as new protocols, and assesses the level of administrative readiness for the implementation of the two new protocols.
In addition, the report on the views of the business community provides recommendations from the perspective of the business community regarding free access to the labor market, as well as the „sentiment“ of the business community regarding the need for a regional business forum for the Open Balkan Initiative.
